Thanksgiving is only 10 days away! I am scratching my head wondering the rest of 2022 has gone! Today’s card is just perfect for wishing friends and family a Happy Thanksgiving – I have used the Rustic Harvest Decorative paper as a focal point, then added some ribbon and Brushed Metallic Sheet embellishments.

Today’s card uses the Pretty Pumpkin Stamp Set pairing Bermuda Bay with Soft Seafoam ~ some non-traditional colors which I think work very well together if you are looking to create something a little unusual.

If you are a regular follower of my blog you will know that in the early part of last December I had a class to create a flip over calendar, everyone loved it and made me promise we will do another for 2022 – I am in the planning stages! I thought I might start each month this year by posting the page for that month, so today I share, November with Pumpkins, acorns and leaves – very autumnal!

I created two different versions using the same stamp set and card layout then switched out my colors, so one is very traditional and the second …. well it is just a little different! The 2021 Holiday Mini Catalog has some super autumn themed products and colors and one of the choices on my wish list was the Pretty Pumpkins Bundle with the Pretty Pumpkins Stamp Set and coordinating Detailed Pumpkins dies.
Todays card showcases this bundle paired with the Watercolor Shapes Stamp Set, I also broke out my Old Olive and Daffodil Delight Blends to do a little coloring.
Continue readingWe are in Thanksgiving week and while this year has not been the best there are things to be grateful for, starting with the health and wellbeing of family and friends, followed by having a roof over our heads and food on the table.
Today’s card features the Gather Together Stamp Set with the co-ordinating Gathered Leaves Dies. I love that stem of corn in the set as well as the cute little pumpkins and I used both on this card.

I have used the Celebration Tidings Stamp Set along with my very favorite Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pen, to color the pumpkins, leaves and berries.
Continue readingI love to do fancy folds so when one of my lovely customers asked if we could do a ‘box’ card at a future class it gave me a chance to reach back into my archives and find one I had done some 6 – 7 years ago.
I have bought it up to date with the beautiful Come Together Suite of products, choosing the Pretty Peacock and Pear Pizzazz colors from this suite.
