Thanksgiving is only 10 days away! I am scratching my head wondering the rest of 2022 has gone! Today’s card is just perfect for wishing friends and family a Happy Thanksgiving – I have used the Rustic Harvest Decorative paper as a focal point, then added some ribbon and Brushed Metallic Sheet embellishments.

• Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Cajun Craze Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
• Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Very Vanilla Card
• Layer 2: 5 1/4 x 1 1/2 Rustic Harvest Decorative Paper
• Ink Color: Cajun Craze

The decorative strip was attached first then run the vanilla layer thru the Cut and Emboss Machine with the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder. I then wound some Natural Woven Ribbon around it and attached to the back with a little ‘scotch tape’ – I think this ribbon adds to the rustic autumn’ness (its a word 🙂 ) of the card.

My greeting is from the Painted Pheasant Stamp Set, stamped onto a scrap of Crumb Cake card cut with Deckled Rectangle Dies, which I added a little Cajun Craze ink with a Sponge Dauber to make it pop a little! I just love the leaves from the Aspen Trees Dies, they cut and emboss the leaves in one go and look magnificent in the Brushed Metallic Sheet, here I chose to use the light and dark shades to give more contrast.
