Enjoy the Moment – Inspirational Card Idea

Welcome to my Corner of the World

I think today’s card would fit most any occasion, particularly for a guy – which I struggle with. I chose the neutral colors of Very Vanilla with Mossy Meadow and Sahara Sand – I thought the combination was ‘peaceful’

Now I have some good news to share – for today November 17th and tomorrow, November 18th 2021 Stampin’ UP! have a seasonal sale for cardstock, ink pads and die sets from the 2021 – 2022 Annual Catalog – the card, ink and dies I used for today’s card are included in that sale……………………… scroll down for more info!!!

Flower Shop for Mother’s Day

Here in the US we celebrate Mother’s Day on May 11th this year.  In the UK it was celebrated in March. Before I started to make cards myself I was always struggling to find cards to send back to the UK for our Mum’s, in fact one year I bought some Mother’s Day cards in May and tucked them away until the following March!  It is so much easier now that I make my own cards. So this is ‘ card for this year and one of the projects for my April card class. Continue reading

Sale -a-bration. ~ You’re Lovely stamp set

A card made for an acquaintance who was recently diagnosed.

imageThe base card is Stampin’ Up’s Blushing Bride card, dry embossed with the Decorative Dots embossing folder then topped with a Tea Time paper doily.

The ‘You’re Lovely stamp set was used for the center embellishment layered on to Sahara Sand card both of which were cut with the Deco Labels Framelits.  Basic Gray ink was used then Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz ink and a blender pen used to water color the flowers.

This was adhered using stampin dimensionals with a twist of 1\4 stitched Blushing Bride grosgrain ribbon and a gentle sprinkling of pearls to finish off. Hopefully it conveys encouragement for her upcoming treatment.

My Project 4-001Happy Stamping 🙂
