Welcome to my Corner of the World

I am enjoying seeing the days get longer, the snowdrops and daffodils in flower and the trees just starting to show buds where their leaves and blossom will appear in the coming weeks ………. it is March already!!

For the last 4 – 5 years I have designed and enjoyed making my flip over desk calendar for the ladies who came to my classes.  As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. Like last year, I recognize not everyone is into making 3D items so have created a card for each month, using elements from the calendar for that month. .

So today I share, St. Paddy’s Day!

Welcome to my Corner of the World

This was designed for a stamp camp in early December 2023, we had such fun making them and my ladies have made me promise to do another for 2026 ……….. already!

Lucky Clover Sending Love Card

Welcome to my Corner of the World

St Patrick’s Day is quite a big thing here in the US, so the Lucky Clover Stamp Set is perfect for this, however the 4 leaf clover is supposed to bring luck so this is a great set for sending good luck wishes particularly as we are coming up to exam season, how lovely it would be to receive a card right before you sit those exams!

Having said all this I did choose to use Green and Gold for this quick and easy card

2023 Flip Over Desk Calendar ~ March

Welcome to my Corner of the World

Once again I enjoyed designing and making my flip over calendar for 2023, with the help of my friend, Elly – while she was visiting from the UK in October. . As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. This was designed for a stamp camp in early December 2022, we had such fun making them and my ladies have made me promise to do another for 2024

So today I share, Shamrock Luck! where I have created some shamrocks using heart shaped dies.

Top o’ the Mornin’ To Ya!

Welcome back to my corner of the world

Wishing you a Happy St Patrick’s Day with a punch art shamrock – which is so very easy to do with a couple of the heart dies from the Stitched Be Mine Dies.

I also used the opportunity to use one of the new embossing folders that will be available April 1st – as a demonstrator I get to pre-order certain items – the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder is so very pretty I had to share it as soon as possible.
