Each month I take part in a Scrapbook hop, I recognize not everyone is into scrapbooking so I try to take some elements from my layout to create a card to show how Stampin’ UP! products can be used for both card making and scrapbook pages. Check out the original scrapbook page I took the pull out section of the page and created this simple fun-fold card which would be perfect for an anniversary, birthday or valentine’s day.

Continue readingI recently hosted a paper share for the specialty papers in the Jan – May 2023 mini catalog, where each participant received a 6″ square of these beautiful papers. In order to provide some inspiration I used a couple of the papers along with the Two Tone Floral Stamp Set and coordinating dies to create a couple of cards LIVE on my You Tube channel.
Continue readingSt Patrick’s Day is quite a big thing here in the US, so the Lucky Clover Stamp Set is perfect for this, however the 4 leaf clover is supposed to bring luck so this is a great set for sending good luck wishes particularly as we are coming up to exam season, how lovely it would be to receive a card right before you sit those exams!
Having said all this I did choose to use Green and Gold for this quick and easy card
Continue readingOnce again I enjoyed designing and making my flip over calendar for 2023, with the help of my friend, Elly – while she was visiting from the UK in October. . As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. This was designed for a stamp camp in early December 2022, we had such fun making them and my ladies have made me promise to do another for 2024
I am changing things a little for this year, I recognise not everyone is into making 3D items so have created a card for each month, using elements from the calendar for that month. .
So today I share, Shamrock Luck! where I have created some shamrocks using heart shaped dies.
Continue readingI have made no secret that Shabby Chic / Vintage style project have become a particular favorite of mine, the Ranunculus Romance Stamp Set along with the Dainty Flowers decorative paper are a great starting place for this style. I have chosen to make an 8 x 6 layout today ~ I am continuing to build up my ‘small’ scrapbook, and have done a double page layout for this months hop. I think the smaller size is just a little different ~ not everyone is into the larger pages and a smaller one is just a bit more manageable.
