In the early part of last December I had a class to create a flip over calendar, everyone loved it and made me promise we will do another later in this new year! I thought I might start each month this year by posting the page for that month, so today I share, April which you can see has April Showers as its theme, check out those cute wellies (wellington boots) with matching umbrella!
Continue readingI could not resist the literation for today’s card! I think that pink and purple is such a pretty combination especially when you use the pastel tones of those colors! I chose Blushing Bride and Highland Heather to create this ‘forever friends’ card and would be great to send to someone ‘just because’ …….. I love getting happy mail!

Continue readingI think when you send a card you send a little piece of your heart, when you send a handmade card, well that is just a little bit more ‘heart’ going into the envelope!
Today I have a trio of parasols using the Pretty Parasol Stamp Set and Umbrella Builder Punch, paired with the lovely bright and cheerful Daffodil Delight and Whisper White.
A couple of weeks ago I shared a card using the Umbrella Builder Punch to create a punch art flower, I was so taken with the idea I decided to have another go at using it for something else ~ other than an umbrella so came up with today’s butterfly card.
This punch pairs with the Under My Umbrella Stamp Set, the large umbrella stamp created the wings, then I used one of the pretty little blossom stamps to create a decorative border with Sahara Sand ink. I am really pleased with the combination of Purple Posy and Blackberry Bliss, the result of some musing while looking at my card stash 🙂

At the beginning of the year Stampin’ UP! introduced the Umbrella Builder Punch to go along with the coordinating Under My Umbrella Stamp Set (which has the most delious pair of welly boots – which is very on-point at the moment) Anyway, I am so thrilled, these are now part of the 2020 -2021 Annual Catalog!
I like to see if I can make my goodies do more that one thing so I have used the punch to create a flower!
