Welcome back to my corner of the world

A couple of weeks ago I shared a card using the Umbrella Builder Punch to create a punch art flower, I was so taken with the idea I decided to have another go at using it for something else ~ other than an umbrella so came up with today’s butterfly card.

This punch pairs with the Under My Umbrella Stamp Set, the large umbrella stamp created the wings, then I used one of the pretty little blossom stamps to create a decorative border with Sahara Sand ink.  I am really pleased with the combination of Purple Posy and Blackberry Bliss, the result of some musing while looking at my card stash 🙂

Card base: 11 x 4 1/4 Purple Posy Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2

Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 3 1/2 Blackberry Bliss Card run thru cutting/embossing machine with Old World 3D Embossing Folder.

Layer 2: 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 Very Vanilla card oval cut with the Layering Ovals Dies

Ink Colors: Sahara Sand

I stamped 2 of the umbrellas from the Under My Umbrella Stamp set onto Purple Posy Card, then attached them to the Very Vanilla Oval with Stampin Dimensionals, positioning them to try and get a more butterfly looking butterfly! then added Basic Pearl Jewels to create a body.

A strip of Purple Posy 1/2 Scalloped Linen Ribbon, attached with 2 – 3 Mini Glue Dots and the greeting added with some more Stampin Dimensionals.
