We paper crafters inevitably find ourselves left with scraps after working on a project, some are a bit too small to keep but others are large enough to be ‘useful’ sometime in the future……….. well we all know they can pile up, so today I have a card that uses up some of the scraps of Countryside Inn decorative paper over from a project I did earlier in the year.
Continue readingI love the decorative papers that Stampin’ UP! has for us to use and just cannot bear to waste any of it if I can help it. I recently was cutting papers from the Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper for a project and had a whole bunch of pieces left, some of them as small as 1 3/8 x 1!
I chose a couple of the colors from the paper, in this case Flirty Flamingo and Pear Pizzazz and created a whole bunch of ‘Thank You’ cards which I sent out to the lovely people who chose to shop for the SU goodies with me in September.
Continue readingI was tidying my work bench – it happens from time to time, especially if I find myself looking for something that is really right under my nose if I just had not put ‘something else’ on top of it! I have often said that if I had just half of the time back that I spend looking for something that is right in front of me, I would get so much more done in a day……. can anyone else relate?
Anyway – as I say – I was tidying my workbench and found some scraps from the Garden Lane DSP from a project I had finished a couple of days before. I could not bring myself to throw them away, so pulled out some Whisper White Card along with a Garden Green Card base. I did not trim the DSP in any way, they are exactly the size and shape l picked up! 🙂
I shall be introducing my DSP share in the coming weeks – so watch this space!
