My 4th Valentine project is a treat holder, it holds one Ghiradelli chocolate square and would make a very quick but impressive token to share at school, in the office or at one of your interest groups!
I hope you are enjoying these valentine projects – please leave me a comment!
This was made by Cathy B of Ohio, and I received it in exchange for one of my swaps at Stampin’ Up!’s Leadership Conference last month.
Measurements are:
- 6 x 2 Real Red Card, scored @ 2 7/8 & 3 1/8 (this is really easy to do with the Simply Score Tool.
- Scraps of Whisper White, Pink Pirouette, Real Red Card and Silver Glimmer Paper
- Scraps of Coastal Cabana and Whisper White for embellishments
Real Red Ink and A Round Array Stamp set.
Punches include:
- Sweetheart Punch
- Scalloped Tag Topper Punch
- 7/8 Scalloped Circle
- 1″ Circle
- Confetti Heart Border Punch
The ‘Be Mine’ is stamped on Whisper White, punched with the 7/8 scalloped circle. This is then layered onto 1″ circle in Real Red with a Stampin’ Dimensional, then attach this to the Sweetheart punched from Pink Pirouette with Snail adhesive.
Punch the 2″ end of the 6 x 2 strip with Scalloped tag topper punch, fold along score lines, fix the chocolate square with a glue dot, then close with a 6 – 8″ length of Silver Bakers Twine
The tiny heart is from the Confetti Heart Border Punch.
