Valentine’s Week # 5

Another card for the 5th day of my Valentine week projects.  This one I have chosen some contemporary colors, Rose Red and Blackberry Bliss, two very rich colors, giving something different for this holiday.

I hope you are enjoying these valentine projects – please leave me a comment!

It features the You Plus Me stamp set  from the 2015 Occasions catalog

Measurements are:

  • 8 1/2   x 5 1/2  Rose Red, scored @ 4 1/4
  • 5 1/4 x 4  Blackberry Bliss layer
  • Scraps of  Whisper White, Blackberry Bliss and Rose Red for embellishments

The Heart Confetti Border was used to punch the Blackberry Bliss layer then attached to the base card with Snail adhesive.

The  second to smallest Window Framelit was used to cut out the Whisper White layer, then 1 3/4″ Circle punch to cut out the Blackberry Bliss layer, which is attached to the white layer with Snail Adhesive.

The ‘Heart and Arrow’ and the ‘Be mine’ are stamped in Versamark then heat embossed with white, then attached with Stampin’ dimensionals. A tiny twist of 1/8 silver ribbon held on with a glue dot finished this card off.

I love the color combination, not one traditionally used for valentine but I think it works rather well 🙂

Here are the main supplies used:

saleabrationDon’t forget that ‘Sale-a-bration’ is still going on……. order $50 of product and choose an exclusive Sale-a-bration product…… Ask Me how!!!

I am enjoying seeing all of your Valentine cards. They are pretty on the computer but I know for a fact that they are even more beautiful when seen in person.
