May 12th is my sister, Susie’s, birthday ~ she is 7 years younger than me and lives in the UK, so I don’t get to see too much of her. While I was always the one who followed the rules (some might say something of a fuddy duddy) she was the one who pushed the envelope and got away with it (mostly!) She is now the proud mother of 4 children and Nanna to 2 grandbabies – it amazes me that my baby sister is a grandmother!!!
These are lovely colours, Soft Sky, Whisper White and Sahara Sand and I chose to use a double fold for a change. Inks are Soft Sky and Wild Wasabi.
Card Base ~ Soft Sky 11 x 4 1/4, scored at 2 1/4 and 5 1/2
Insert ~ Whisper White 5 1/4 x 4
DSP Panel ~ 4 x 2 Something Borrowed DSP
I used the Painted Petals Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up! (which will be retiring on June 2nd – don’t miss a chance to get this beautiful set of images) The flowers have been cut about with the 2nd smallest Labels Collection Framelits , the edges were then sponged with soft sky then layered onto Soft Sky cut using the 2nd largest Deco LabelsFramelit (also about to retire!)
The double bow used the Painted Blooms Cotton Twine which funnily enough comes in Soft Sky, Whisper White and Wild Wasabi!
Here are some of the supplies used: (remember these are available 24/7 from my on-line store ~ just click that little pink purse on the right there OR click the item below and it will take you straight there.
