Hello again …… Flower Shop by Stampin’ Up!

It is some time since I last used the Flower Shop Stamp Set ~ I was asked to make some cards and was browsing my stamp shelf for some inspiration and there is was, just perfect for the kind of card I wanted to make.

My base card in in Whisper White cut 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and scored @ 4 1/4

The layer is in Soft Sky cut at 5 1/4 x 4, stamped with the ‘spotty’ stamp from Gorgeous Grunge in Sahara Sand and Soft Sky ink.

A length of the Venetian Crocheted trim attached to back of the layer with a couple of glue dots. The layer was attached to the base card with snail adhesive.

The larger flower was stamped onto Whisper White card in Sahara Sand ink and the smaller flower (from the Petite Petals Stamp Set) stamped onto Soft Sky card with Sahara Sand ink.  Each was punched out with the matching punch.  (Great to have punches that match stamps – it makes it so much quicker to build a beautiful card!) These were layered together with a glue dot.  Garden Green card was used to cut out the leaves from the Bird Builder punch, these and the flowers were attached just above the lace trim with a Stampin’ dimensional.

The sentiment was stamped with Sahara Sand using the Lots of Thanks Stamp set on Whisper White card and cut out with the Decorative Label punch before being attached to the card with a couple of dimensionals.

I used the Petite Petals punch and the Itty Bitty Accent Punch Pack flower to make the flowers, the larger in Soft Sky and smaller in Whisper White, the tips were sponged in Soft Sky before being layered with glue dots and attached to the label with glue dots as well.

I hope you enjoyed this card
