Thanksgiving ~ Among the Branches

Goodness me…. this is my 300th post!!!!!  Wow, I am quite amazed that I have this much to share……..hhhhmmm to continue…..

This is the second card using this stamp set which really  did not have much  appeal for me until I saw it at the Stampin’ Up Inspire, Create, Share event in Salt Lake City back in July.

It has stamps that work for Halloween, Thanksgiving/Fall and Christmas – all three of the major holidays.  I have used this set a lot in my classes over the last couple of months and have a few cards to share with you over the coming days.

So here we have a Thanksgiving/Fall card

Base card : 8 1/2 x 4 1/4 Soft Suede ~ scored at 4 1/4

Layer 1:  4 1/2 x 3 Pumpkin Pie Card

Layer 2:  4 1/4 x 2 3/4 Very Vanilla Card

Insert: 5 1/4 x 4 Very Vanilla Card

Ink colors ~ Pumpkin Pie, Hello Hone, Soft Suede & Mossy Meadow

The branches and leaves, there are 3 different ones,  were stamped onto the Very Vanilla layer then tiny dots of liquid adhesive (using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen)  and a sprinkling of gold glitter, All these images are available in that one set and that is just the Thanksgiving/Fall  ones.

I embossed the front of the card with the Woodland Textured embossing folder, before attaching the Pumpkin Pie/Very Vanilla layers with Stampin Dimensionals. The ‘Autumn Wishes’ was cut using the 2″ circle punch then a layer of the gold foil offset behind.  The ribbon was attached with a couple of glue dots.

I hope you enjoyed it – let me know your thoughts below …………
