Here we are on Day 4 of the Advent calendar the my friend, Elly, from the UK and I designed during her visit in October using a 24 cup mini muffin pan. Throughout December I will share one each day with a brief description of each.
You will want to open each post, as there will be a little treat behind each one! Some days it might be some virtual ‘candy’ or sweeties as we call them in the UK, other times it might be a card, 3D project or a video!
Each of the squares start with a 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 inch base with 4 little magnets stuck to the back with glue dots. The primary colors are Real Red, Old Olive, Smoky Slate and Soft Sky. Ink Colors included those above, plus two neutrals of Tip Top Taupe and Early Expresso.
Once again the pretty paper from the Candy Cane Lane DSP was layered onto a Soft Sky base. The ‘snow flakes’ are cut from Soft Sky card for the larger and Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper for the smaller both were cut using the Snow Flurry Punch ~ you can never have tooooo much sparkle at Christmas, I say!
today’s virtual treat:
I love coconut chocolate bars – in the UK we have one called a Bounty.
