During tax season I had 3 birthdays for the ‘littlies’ in my life ~ a grand-daughter, great nephew and the grandson of a dear friend. Balloons are just such cheerful things, they bob and weave and just perfect to celebrate a birthday.
I have added additional classes to my schedule so you might want to go look at the Calendar Tab 🙂
All 3 of the cards have the same recipe:
Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 ~ scored @ 4 1/4
Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Whisper White, run thru the Big Shot with the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder.
All balloons were cut from card, DSP and glimmer paper using the Balloon Bouquet punch. The White Stampin’ Chalk Marker is just perfect for putting those little hightlights that make the ballon seem a little more real.
All the numbers were cut using the Large Numbers Framelits ~ great for the focal point on each card, each number was layered onto a 2″ circle, with stampin’ dimensionals.
Blushing Bride with Rose Red.
Marina Mist with Night of Navy
Smoky Slate with Daffodil Delight – these were the colors of the nursery and the baby shower theme – it just seemed cute to use these colors again. If you click here it will take you to the card I made for the shower…. and that had balloons on it as well!
I hope you like today’s project – please let me know in a comment ~ by using that little link just under the title.
