The Ribbon of Courage stamp set was one I was so thrilled to see in the 2017 – 2018 Annual Catalog, it was inspired by Patty Bennett who is one of Stampin’ UP!’s Million Sales Achiever, and was included on my very first order when the catalog went live on June 1st.
I wanted to make some cards with the set and the coordinating Support Ribbon Framelits and I did google the different Awareness Ribbon colors – there are such a huge range for all different causes, but I decided to go neutral today.
Card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Extra Thick Whisper White Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 5 Whisper White card run thru the Big Shot with the Layered Leaves embossing folder.
I chose to go with silver embossing for the ribbon and greeting which was layered onto Silver Foil Sheet, cut with the Pretty Label Punch. A trio of Silver Metallic Enamel shapes and I was done. It just looks so peaceful and elegant.
I then made another using Very Vanilla Card with gold – not sure which I prefer they are both just…… so……… so……………
