Lovely Friends from Stampin’ UP!

Good Friends are hard to find………….  a perfect sentiment for those times when you want a special card for a special friend.

The Lovely Friends stamp set has 2 large sentiments then about 8 or 9 smaller ones – all in a graceful cursive script.  The other stamps allow you to build up the beautiful flowers, using a two-step stamping technique.

Card base:  8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Extra thick Whisper White Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4

Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Pear Pizzazz Card

Layer 2: 5 x 3 4/4 Whisper White

Ink colors: Early Expresso, Pear Pizzazz, Powder Pink and Berry Burst.

The card has a surprise when opened, with a pop-up laurel inside, made with the Lovely Laurel Thinlet dies which come part of a bundle with the Lovely Friends Stamp Set.  (you save 10% when buying the bundle)  While this looks to be a little difficult to assemble it is really easy because the dies give you the tabs to adhere it to the card – I recommend you use either mini glue dots or Tear and Tape to give a good strong bond.

I could not resist scattering a few Glitter Enamel Dots on the front of the card – which has both Berry Burst and Old Olive which blended in perfectly with the Pear Pizzazz card and ink.

  1. Hi Cindy, Please add Lynda Davis and Susie Waddelow to the class for the Tuesday 10:00 class for the Merry blocks. I would also like the blocks with mine too.

    Thanks so much! Quetta
