I have said on many occasions that I love to make 3D items and what can be better than a 3D with chocolate! I chose to make them in classic Black and White then used the Year of Cheer Designer Series Paper which allowed me to bring in some gold and silver.
This would be perfect for your Christmas tablescape but change up the colors and you can have a treat holder for birthdays, wedding, showers, baby – just about any celebration you can think of.
Box base: 8 1/2 x 6 1/2 Basic Black Card ~ score @ 2 1/8, 4 5/8 and 6 3/4 on the long side. Score @ 1 3/4 and 4 3/4 on the short side
Year of Cheer DSP:
Cut a strip 2 7/8 wide, then cut the following from the strip ~ 2 pieces @ 2″, 1 piece @ 2 3/8 and 1 piece at 1 5/8
I used versamark and embossing powder for the greeting from the Cheers to the Year Stamp Set, choosing gold powder and ribbon for the paper that had gold snowflakes and silver powder and ribbon for the paper that had the silver ‘sunburst’ design.
The video will explain how all the pieces go together 🙂
