Christmas is behind us for another year 😦 but I hope everyone had a good day!
There are folks who have birthday’s around the weeks before and after Christmas, my maternal Grandmother’s birthday was actually born on Christmas Day ~ she would have celebrated her 109th birthday this year. and it was her wedding anniversary as well, I think they married in 1929! I often think that they get a little short-changed, so I made a very special card for those ‘Christmas/New Year Babies’
Card base: 11 x 4 1/2 Wisteria Wonder Card ~ Scored @ 5 1/2
Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Elegant Eggplant Card
Layer 2: 5 x 3 3/4 Whisper White Card
Ink Color: Wisteria Wonder
The eclipse technique is addictive, everything I have made with the technique I just love. The flower image is from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set and stamped before cutting out the message. While it is easy to do it can be a little time consuming using the Happy Birthday Die as each of the little pieces in and around the letters have to be individually adhered to the base card before attaching the ‘Happy Birthday’ piece.
The little flowers are cut using the Tree Builder punch and attached with a tiny dot of Multipurpose Glue before adding a small pearl.
Thank you for stopping by – I hope you like today’s card – please let me know in a comment ~ by using that little link just under the title.
