Painted Harvest Lions

We have a brand new Occasions catalog but we can still get the Painted Harvest Stamp Set and that really cute Cat Punch, both of which I used to create this card.  I used the one of the greetings from the stamp set but it would make a perfect birthday card for a child I think.  This card also uses a couple of products from my stash that get overlooked, the Starburst Punch and the Wood Texture DSP Stack.

Card base:  8 1/2 x 5 1/2  Early Expresso Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4

Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Wood Texture Designer Series Paper Stack

Layer 2: 4 5/8 x 3 3/8 Early Expresso Card

Layer 3:  4 1/2 x 3 1/4 Very Vanilla Card

Ink Colors: Crushed Curry for the Lion’s manes, Early Expresso for the greeting and Pear Pizzazz for the sponged grass.

The features on the face were hand drawn using a Basic Black Stampin’ Marker as were the lines to show the legs.  The cat’s bodies were cut from a scrap of Crushed Curry card, the faces then attached with a couple of dimensionals.
