Nature’s Poem Suite ~ what a lovely name for this suite of products which have lots of natural images of trees, leaves and soft mellow colors which include Soft Suede and Cajun Craze, perfect for the autumn (although to be honest I really don’t want to think about that just yet!)
Today’s card features the Rooted in Nature stamp set and the coordinating Nature’s Root Framelit dies – I am thinking this would make a really good guy card.
Card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/5 Soft Suede ~ scored @ 4 1/4
Layer 1: 5 x 4 Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper (look out for my upcoming DSP share!)
Layer 2: 4 x 3 1/2 Very Vanilla Card
Banner: 3 1/2 x 3/4 Nature’s Poem DSP
Scrap for Greeting: 3 x 1 Whisper White card
Ink Colors: Soft Suede and Mint Macaron
Scraps of Grapefruit Grove and Mint Macaron were used for the leaves which were cut out with a couple of the dies, each were then cut in half across the middle to make them look longer and peek out from beneath the banner!
The Nature’s Poem Suite also includes a set of beautiful Natures Twines – I chose to use the Mint Macaron one on the card as well as a couple of Leaves Trinkets which are tucked under the banner and held in place with a glue dot each ~ you can check out the products in this suite on pages 142 thru 144 in the 2018 – 2019 Annual Catalog by clicking on the link to the right of this page.
