Using 6 x 6 DSP with Springtime Impressions Thinlets

I cannot resist Designer Series Paper – it is almost always the top of my wish list when a new catalog is released.  I used to be reluctant to cut into a sheet and found I had become a  DSP hoarder!   I set myself a personal challenge a couple of years ago to use the paper and have shared many of the projects with you my readers…….. my accountability partners!

In July I hosted a DSP share, each participant getting a 6 x 6 piece of all the DSP’s in the 2018 -2019 Annual Catalog – plenty to create some beautiful projects – today’s card uses half of a 6 x 6 sheet of Garden  Impressions DSP and is the main decoration.

Card base:  8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Basic Black Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4

Layer 1:  5 1/4 x 4 Basic Gray Card

Ink Colors: Lovely Lipstick

The DSP was cut with the Spring Time Impressions Thinlets and attached to the card with Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet (see my video later this week!)  The greeting is from the Treat Time Stamp Set ~ a gem of a set because it practically covers every occasion – plus some small images, a couple of which I used on the envelope and inside the card. The greeting is cut with 1 3/8 scalloped circle punch then layered onto  Sparkle Glimmer Paper cut with a 1 1/2 Circle punch.

A small bow with the Lovely Lipstick 1/8 Grosgrain Ribbon and a scattering of Basic Jewel Rhinestones and we are done………. lovely 🙂
