So how cute is this little guy – a frog on a unicycle juggling with little bugs?
I was able to make this card using one of the free Sale-a-bration stamp sets, So Hoppy Together. Card base: 11 x 4 1/4 Granny Apple Green Card ~ scored @ 5 1/5
Layer 1: 3 3/4 x 2 1/4 Basic Black Card
Layer 2: 3 5/8 x 2 1/8 Granny Apple Green Card
Layer 3: 3 1/2 x 2 Whisper White Card
Ink Colors: Stazon Ink and Versamark
I stamped the entire front of the card base with the little bug and firefly stamps and Versamark – this gives me a tone-on-tone effect which fills space but doesn’t take anything away from my little froggy friend.
The little guy is stamped in Stazon Ink then I broke out my watercolor pencils and Blender pen to color him and his unicycle. I could not resist adding a Granny Apple Green Glimmer Dot which kind of looks as though he is kicking it with his foot while juggling and riding a unicycle – this is one smart frog that’s for sure!
The greeting is part of the stamp set, cut with 1/2 circle punch then layered on to black cut with 3/4 circle punch before being attached to the card with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
