I shared a card using the So Hoppy Together Stamp Set last week – he is such a cute little guy – I could not resist using this set again ~ this time as a valentine card, since we are just a few weeks shy of February 14th, come to think of it ~ this may just be perfect for an anniversary, engagement or even a wedding card!
I was able to make this card using one of the free Sale-a-bration stamp sets, So Hoppy Together. Card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Thick Whisper White ~ scored @ 4 1/4
Layer 1: 2 5/8 x 2 1/8 Lovely Lipstick Card
Layer 2: 2 1/2 x 2 Whisper White Card
Banner: 5 x 1″ All My Love Designer Series Paper
Ink Colors: Granny Apple Green
I stamped both of my froggy sweethearts in Granny Apple Green then used a Blender Pen to pull a little of the ink to shade them and give a little substance. The eyelashes for the lady frog were hand-drawn using a Journaling Pen, she was then cut out with 1 1/2 Circle Punch and layered onto some Lovely Lipstick card cut with the Pretty Label Punch. Both frogs were attached to the base card with Stampin Dimensionals.
The Heart Epoxy Droplets are part of the All My Love Suite – 72 hearts in 3 different sizes. They are clear in the packet – best news of all – they can be colored to match your project – so for this card I used the light Cherry Cobbler Blends Pen to color 2 small hearts, I did this while they were still on the backing sheet, gave them a moment to dry then added them to the card – how sweet they are handing their hearts to each other…………………. {sigh!}
