OH OH this is such a fun stamp set, I just love that rooster, this would make a great card for the fellas in our lives!
I made the card using another of the items we can get for FREE – it is the Home To Roost Stamp set, and I have paired it with the Crackled Paint Background Stamp from the 2019 Occasions Catalog.

Card Base: 11 x 4 1/4 Crumb Cake Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2
Layer 1 : 5 1/4 x 4 Mango Melody Card
Layer 2: 5 x 3 3/4 Very Vanilla Card
Ink Colors: Soft Suede, Memento Tuxedo Black
I stamped the rooster onto a small piece of Very Vanilla Card with the Memento Tuxedo Black ink then used Ivory, Poppy Parade , Shaded Spruce and Mango Melody Stampin Blends to color him, then cut him out using one of the plain circles from the Layering Circles Framelits, then cut a slightly larger circle in Crumb Cake to layer this onto. The edges of all the pieces were sponged in Soft Suede before assembly and a 5/8 Burlap ribbon added to give even more of a rustic look.
The greeting is also from the same stamp set, I simply stamped onto a scrap of Very Vanilla Card and trimmed with my Paper Snips then sponged the edges. I think that ‘Just a Note’ would work very well for a birthday card as you could simply write ‘……. to wish you a happy birthday’ inside the card.
