Sometimes you just need a card so you can send a message, nothing specific but just a note. It could say thinking of you inside or thank you, speedy recovery ~ I guess just about anything that will make someone’s day when they open the envelope.
The Crafting Forever stamp set has a stamp with just 3 pens and I love it, I have paired it with the Crackle Paint Background Stamp then rooted around in my stash to find the “Just a Note…. greeting which is from one of the Saleabration sets (now no longer available 😦 )
Card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Poppy Parade Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Very Vanilla Card
Layer 2: 3 3/4 x 2 1/2 Poppy Parade Card
Layer 3: 3 1/2 x 2 1/4 Very Vanilla Card
Ink Colors: Poppy Parade and Sahara Sand
I used my Stamparatus to stamp with the background stamp – I find it so much easier than holding one of the really large blocks (I have arthritis in a couple of fingers on my right hand due to dislocating them playing netball when I was 12!)

All the edges of the Very Vanilla layers have been sponged with Sahara Sand ink and Stampin Sponges. The 3/8 Poppy Parade Striped ribbon is just a perfect embellishment attached to layer 1 before attaching to the base card with 4 – 5 Stampin Dimensionals. The panel with the pens is also popped up on 4 Stampin Dimensionsals.
