We are in the last 8 days for the Stampin UP! 2018 – 2019 annual catalog which means that stamp sets and other products will be retiring and there are some of my favorites among them. So I am going to use my blog posts to share some of the things that are retiring – along with links so that you can put in your order so you don’t miss out.
Today’s card uses the Timeless Textures Stamp Set ~ I truly have loved this set – and have used it on so many projects – the texture stamps are so versatile and todays card uses the stamps as the focal point – I shall miss this set when it retires at the end of the month.

Ink Colors: Merry Merlot & Sahara Sand
I made this card for an anniversary and wanted to be suitable to give to a man or woman – so not too frilly or fancy, but change out the greeting and it will work for any occasion!
I started with the Sahara Sand around the edges of the Very Vanilla layer, then the ‘swirly’ stamp was laid down next. The ‘leafy stem’ was then stamped in Merry Merlot ink then finally filled in the the gaps with the ‘dotty’ stamp! I wound some of the Gold Metallic Thread around the card before attaching the greeting with a couple of Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting is from the Beautiful Bouquet Stamp Set cut using the Layering Oval Framelits. This stamp set has a number of really useful greetings that would work very well for this card and the Oval framelits. A leaf cut with the Leaf Punch and a scrap of Gold Glimmer Paper is attached with a Mini Glue Dot.
