We are in the last week for the Stampin UP! 2018 – 2019 annual catalog which means that stamp sets and other products will be retiring and there are some of my favorites among them. So I am going to use my blog posts to share some of the things that are retiring – along with links so that you can put in your order so you don’t miss out.
Today’s card uses the Bloom by Bloom Stamp Set ~ along with the retiring 2017 – 2019 retiring In-Color Berry Burst with its coordinating 3/8 Mini Ruffled Ribbon. This is a card I offered in a recent Card Buffet and over 50 were made!
Card base: 11 x 4 1/4 Thick Whisper White Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2
Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Berry Burst Card
Layer 2: 4 3/4 x 3 1/2 Whisper White Card
Ink Colors: Berry Burst and Granny Apple Green
I stamped the greeting first – this makes sure there is enough room! then both of the stems then added the flowers. The Whisper White layer is attached to the Berry Burst one with a little Multipurpose Liquid Glue then this attached to the card base with 4 – 5 Stampin Dimensionals.
Although I made this a thank you card there is plenty of space to put just about any theme,
A little ribbon knot attached with a mini glue dot and some Basic Pearls scattered and I am done.
