Hello Paper Crafting Friends ~ welcome back to my corner of the world.
Vibrant Vases Stamp Set gives you the chance to build up some very pretty designs, it also has the coordinating Vases Builder Punch, although I have not used it on this card it is a very useful punch to have.
Today’s card is a simple card with a vase of flowers front and center, it also uses a blender pen technique to color the flowers. I have used one of the sentiments which will work for a lot of occasions, birthday, thank you, thinking of you…. because any of these are ‘just for you’ 🙂
Card base: 81/2 x 5 1/2 Gorgeous Grape Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Whisper White Card
Layer 2: 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 Soft Suede Card
Layer 3: 3 1/4 x 2 1/4 Gorgeous Grape Card
Layer 4: 3 x 2 Whisper White Card
Ink Color: Soft Suede and Gorgeous Grape
The vase is stamped first in Soft Suede ink then the flowers in the Gorgeous Grape, I then took my Blender Pen to gently pull a little of the ink into the flowers to give them the pale color – this is such a very easy way to bring a lighter shade of the color without bringing in another ink pad.
All three of the small layers are attached together with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive then this is attached to base card with 4 Stampin Dimensionsals . Each flower has gold Metallic Pearl for its bit of ‘bling’ and it is done!
