Today’s card was made using my Stampartus along with the the Vibrant Vases Stamp Set. This set has lots of vase and flower images so you can build up a really decorative panel for your card – which is an off-set Z fold.
I have no idea where the color combination came from other than I glanced down at some scraps on my work bench and Cajan Craze and Petal Pink were just lying there left over from previous projects ~ they just seemed ‘right’ and I went with it!

Card base: 11 x 4 1/4 Cajan Craze Card ~ scored @ 2 3/4 and 5 1/2
Layer 1: 4 1/4 x 2 3/4 Petal Pink Card
Layer 2: 4 x 2 1/2 Very Vanilla Card
Ink Colors: Cajun Craze, Petal Pink and Pear Pizzazz
I used the 2-Step Stampin’ technique by lining up the ‘vase’ stamps on the Stamparatus and stamping all three at the same time with Cajun Craze Ink, then lining up all the ‘filler vase’ stamps on the second plate of the Stamparatus using Petal Pink Ink to fill in the vases. The flowers were added afterwards using an acrylic block and the Cajan Craze ink.
I used my blender pen to color in the flowers by simply pulling the ink from the stamped image which gave me some shading, before adding a few Pearl Basic Jewels.
