welcome back to my corner of the world
So here we are – October 2nd! although here in North Texas it is hard to believe it as we continue to have temperatures in the mid 90’s and have only had rain twice in the last 9 weeks! As many of you know I originally came from south-west England some 18 years ago, before we came to this part of the world I never would believe I would ever WISH for rain!!!
As this is the start of October I am sharing a Halloween card using the Wonderfully Wicked Stamp Set from the 2019 Holiday Catalog. As I write this post, Brian (best beloved!) is putting out the Halloween decorations in the front garden.
Card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Basic Black Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Gorgeous Grape Card ~ run thru big shot with Woodland Embossing Folder
Layer 2: 4 1/4 x 3 1/4 Granny Apple Green Card
Layer 3: 4 x 3 Whisper White Card
Ink Color: Tuxedo Black Memento and Gorgeous Grape
Those cute little spiders are cut using the Wicked Dies and attached with the Mini Black Dimensionals. If you check on page 50 of the Holiday Catalog you will see the great Every Season Punch Pack (I just love punch packs!) which has a little bat – both the spiders and the bat are cut from Black Foil. The Oh so pretty Glittered Organdy Ribbon adds a little subtle bling peeking out behind the cobwebs.
