welcome back to my corner of the world
Last week I shared that Blue and Silver was one of my favorite Christmas color combinations and the tree in my craft room/study has blue and silver so today’s card showcases those colors. Showcasing Pretty Peacock and the stunning Mercury Glass Designer Acetate.
There is a minimal amount of stamping – despite that I managed to use two stamp sets – yes two – so unlike me I know! So the greeting is from the Itty Bitty Stamp Set and the little flowery star from Memorable Mosaic
Card base: 11 x 4 1/4 Pretty Peacock Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2 and randomly stamped ‘tone-on-tone’ with Pretty Peacock Ink
Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 2 Mercury Glass Designer Acetate
Scraps of Pool Party Card, Sparkle Glimmer Paper and Silver Foil for the stars
Ink Colors: Pretty Peacock
The Mercury Glass Acetate is attached with Mini Glue Dots in such a way that they are hidden behind the silvery parts. I ran the Pool Party Star thru the big shot with the Tufted Embossing Folder to add a bit more texture before attaching all the stars with ‘Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting is from the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp set which I cut using the smallest ornament punch from the Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack.
There are so many fantastic seasonal greetings in Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set – you need to get your hands on it before it retires on Jan 3rd.
