welcome back to my corner of the world
Oh, I just love the color combination on today’s card, Bermuda Bay and Black with just a cheeky little splash of Melon Mambo. The Tropical Chic Stamp Set has a variety of leaves and greetings that work just perfectly with these colors.
Card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Bermuda Bay Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
Layer 1: 5 x 3 3/4 Basic Black Card
Layer 2: 4 7/8 x 3 5/8 Whisper White Card
Scrap of Melon Mambo Card
Ink Colors: Bermuda Bay
I stamped the greeting first then used the Stampin’ Off technique to get different depths of color for my leaves ~ click here to learn about it
The little flowers are cut using the snowflake punch from the Every Season Punch Pack – after cupping them and adding a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the middle of each they may perfect little flowers. An elegant knot form the 1/2 Black Satin Ribbon is my final flourish on this one. (check out how I do my knots here)
