Hello Paper Crafting Friends ~ welcome back to my corner of the world.
Time for another technique today ~ Stamping techniques are simply ways to use your stamping supplies with a different approach to create a fun effect.
Stampin’ off gives you lighter shades of your ink color, giving you lots more flexibility to create texture on your cards/scrapbook pages. I have used the Seaside Notions Stamp Set to make today’s card which was for my eldest step-sons birthday last week
Card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Crumb Cake Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Rich Razzleberry Card
Layer 2: 5 x 3 3/4 Very Vanilla Card
Layer 3: 3 x 3 Rich Razzleberry Card
Layer 4: 2 7/8 x 2 7/8 Very Vanilla Card
Ink Color: Crumb Cake and Rich Razzleberry
The video explains how to ‘Stamp off’ as well as assemble the card. I just want to point out the ribbon I used as a small embellishment – it is 3/8 Linen from the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack – it defineatly has a sort of masculine feel to it and works so well with the other colors in the card.
