welcome back to my corner of the world
Merry Christmas to all my lovely family, readers and followers, wherever you are in the world I wish you a peaceful holiday season.
Since it is Christmas I have given myself a little treat with this card – lots of gold and 3, yes 3 different stamp sets to create it! The leaves come from the Tidings All Around stamp set, the dotty circles from Artisan Textures and the greeting from the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set!
Card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Mossy Meadow Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Very Vanilla Card
Scraps of Very Vanilla and Mossy Meadow Card
Ink Colors: Mossy Meadow and Metallic Gold
Green and gold make such a great Christmas combination and I simply stamped randomly to create the effect. With a length of the 3/8 Reversible Ribbon, although this is Old Olive and Pretty Peacock it seems to pick out the green and gold theme I was going for. The greeting is cut using the Tailored Tag Punch then simply layered onto a piece cut from Mossy Meadow card then offset before attaching to the card with a couple of Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. A final gold flourish with the Gold Metallic Pearls.
So once again wishing you peace and tranquility for today and the future, to quote Queen Elizabeth from her Christmas Message today – her wish for small steps to reconciliation is also mine.
