Sailing Home Meets Country Club DSP ~ Guy Card

Welcome back to my corner of the world

A couple of weeks ago I announced my product share for the 2020 Mini Catalog.  Today’s card uses the Country Club Designer Series Paper which is one of the papers in the share. The paper has golf themed images on one side but when you flip them over there are some more general plaid and fair isle patterns which are perfect for guy cards.

I love to make these multi layer cards it is a great way to use up scraps  as well as showcase the different designs in the package.

Card base:  8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Basic Gray Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4

Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Country Club Designer Series Paper

Layer 2:  3 x 2 1/2 Mint Macaron Card

Layer 3: 2 3/4 x 2 1/4 Country Club DSP

Layer 4: 2 3/4 x 2 Night of Navy Card

Layer 5:  2 1/2 x 1 3/4 Very Vanilla Card

Greeting Banner: 2 x 1 Very Vanilla Card

Ink Colors: Night of Navy

The Sailing Home Stamp Set is just perfect for a guy card, I just love the boats, anchor and rope images.  The greeting is from the Here’s A Card Stamp Set, I wanted to use a simple greeting with all the other layers going on.  The 3/8 Denim ribbon has been in my stash since last June when it was in the 2019 – 2020 Annual Catalog – but I had not yet used it, a trio of Night of Navy Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots and my card is done.
