Welcome back to my corner of the world
I make and share lot of cards on my blog, I was working on some designs one evening and looking for a change and some inspiration and there was some off-cuts of Designer Series Paper on my work bench. I decided a box would make a nice change ~ so I started with the largest piece of DSP to make the lid then worked backwards to make the base of the box, choosing one of the colors from the paper.
I share the ones I made below but set myself a challenge with the video to create a box for a Bath Bomb from scratch (keeping my fingers crossed all the time that it would work out)
Box Base: 5 x 5 Old Olive Card ~ scored @ 1 5/8 on all 4 sides
Box Lid: 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 Tropical Oasis DSP ~ scored @ 3/4″ on all 4 sides
Belly Band: 3/4″ x 7 Old Olive Card
Scraps of Very Vanilla and Mango Melody Card
Ink Colors: Old Olive
Here’s how to put everything together………… enjoy!

Mint Macaron and Rich Razzleberry Boxes made with Best Dressed DSP and a variety of embellishments, Butterfly Duo Punch, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Petal Pink Rhinestones, Vellum Card
The dimensions for this size are:
Box Base: 6 x 6 Mint Macaron Card ~ scored @ 1 1/2 on all 4 sides
Box Lid: 4 5/8 x 4 5/8 Best Dressed DSP ~ scored @ 3/4 on all 4 sides
