Welcome to my Corner of the World
Today’s project is inspired by Scrimpin’ Mommy – a UK Demonstrator. I was in the mood to do a 3D project with a bit of a challenge and came across the video for this really sturdy and attractive gift box.
While Scrimpin’ Mommy’s sample has a Christmas theme I chose to use the Forever Greenery Suite of products, along with upcycling the chip board that comes with the metallic foil sheets.
Remember that Designer Series is on offer at a 15% discount for October! Click here for more info
As Scrimpin’ Mommy’s card supplies use the metric A4 card ~ I had to rejig things a little to use 11 x 8 1/2 card.
- 3 pieces of chipboard ~ 2 x 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 & 1 piece 4 1/2 x 1 3/8
- 11 x 5 1/2 Granny Apple Green Card
- 2 pieces 4 x 4 Soft Seafoam Card
- 1 piece 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 Old Olive Card
- 2 pieces 3 x 3 Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper
- 1 piece 7 1/4 x 7 1/4 Granny Apple Green Card (for little box inside)
- 1 piece 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 Soft Seafoam Card (inside little box)
- Ink Color: Early Expresso
The top of my box is decorated with the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper, Forever Greenery Trim Pack, Gilded Gems and In Good Taste Elements, along with pieces cut with the Forever Flourishing Dies.
Now you have some measurements check out Amanda’s video on how it all goes together. 🙂
