I recently learned that here, in the US, hedgehogs are kept as pets, who knew? Back in my native UK they live in the wild, visit gardens at night, eat the slugs and snails then curl up and sleep thru the winter!

I have broken out my water-colouring pencils again today, for the cutest little guy EVER, using the Walk in the Woods stamp set to create this thank you card, but as always – change out the greeting and it will make the perfect birthday or thinking of you card.

• Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Crumb Cake Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
• Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Early Expresso Card
• Layer 2: 5 x 3 3/4 Crumb Cake Card
• Ink Color: Early Expresso

The little guy is stamped on Very Vanilla Card cut with a 2 1/4 Circle Punch, The greeting is cut with 1 1/2 Circle Punch. Both circles and the edges of layer 2 are sponged with Early Expresso ink and a Stampin Sponge.

After colouring with water colour pencils I used my blender pen to smooth out the colour, then added some little dots on the toadstools with White Chalk Pen. A little Cinnamon Cider 1/4″ ribbon and we are done – just love this lil’ guy!
