A couple of weeks ago I participated in a scrapbook blog hop, we had a free hand for the theme and I chose to do one for FAMILY. It was a cold and damp day when I designed the page and made me wish for spring so I pulled out some soft spring colors and the DistINKtive style Gorgeous Posies Stamp Set.
I just loved that page when it was finished, so decided to use the same design and colors, and that is what I am sharing today, it also shows scrapbook pages can inspire cards and vice versa!
- Base Card: 11 x 4 1/4 Thick Basic White Card ~ scored @ 51/2
- Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Pear Pizzazz Card
- Layer 2: 5 x 3 3/4 Basic White Card
- Ink Colors: Rococo Rose, Pear Pizzazz, Sahara Sand and Soft Suede.
After stamping the greeting, I randomly stamped the flowers first, then filled in with the leaves, little twiggy stamp and the dotty images. It was very quick and easy to stamp, then a few Basic Pearl Jewels and voila a pretty super soft card.
