We always need thank you cards, I sent out a lot of those to friends, family and my wonderful SU customers. I have used one of the palest colors along side one of the darkest colors in the Stampin’ UP! color family today and they work so very well together!
Unusually for me I have used 2 different stamp sets for this card, but I think the design would work for almost any occasion, just change out the greeting and it would be a very pretty birthday or thinking of you card as well.
- Base Card: 8 1.2 x 5 1.2 Purple Posy Card ~ scored @ 2 1/8 and 6 3/8
- Layer 1: 2 pieces 5 1/4 x 1 1/2 Blackberry Bliss Card
- Layer 2: 5 1/4 x 4 Basic White Card for inside layer
- Ink Color: Blackberry Bliss
The cute images in the Posted for You stamp set are stamped on scraps of Purple Posy Card and cut with the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch, I then used my Wink of Stella to ‘smoosh’ the ink color onto the flowers and little birds. Then attached to the card base with a little Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
The greeting is from the Massive Thanks Stamp Set, cut with the Layering Circle dies. Everything is topped off with a few Basic Rhinestone Jewels and a bow from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack attached with a Mini Glue Dot.
