‘You will have either arrived from Dorothea’s  post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME.  This month are theme is ‘the letter M’ so the theme I have chosen is MUM!

Once again I have chosen to use a 12 x 12 page – mainly because Stampin’ UP! has 12 x 12 card stock in all its colors which gives me a fantastic choice

Although here in the US Mothers Day is celebrated in May, in my home country it is celebrated in March. Unusually for me, I have included photographs, I was looking thru a box given to me by my Mum about 6 – 7 years ago where we had annotated the back with dates and places. As I looked thru them there was some that were taken before she was married and before she became my mum, and I could not resist putting them together on a page.

Her favorite color combination was Navy and Ivory and one of her favorite flowers were spray carnations and she did love her pearl earrings – so this page has everything that reminds me of her. The background stamping uses the Inspiring Iris Stamp set with Smoky Slate and Seaside Spray ink. These are the real photographs so I have used an archival adhesive to attach them to the page. Now I have to work my way thru the other 100’s of photos in that box! 🙂
