Welcome to my Corner of the World
Today I broke out my Basic Patterns Decorative Masks and Blending Brushes to create a piece of decorative card as a background. I chose the Polka Dot mask with Fresh Freesia ink which I added fairly lightly to keep it delicate.

- Base Card: 11 x 4 1/4 Thick Basic White Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2
- Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Fresh Freesia Card
- Layer 2: 5 x 3 3/4 Basic White Card
- Layer 3: 4 3/4 x 2 1/4 Fresh Freesia Card ~ cut at an angle so the right hand side is 1 1/2
- Ink Color: Fresh Freesia
Once I had finished stenciling I added a piece of Fresh Freesia card that was cut on an angle, I have given you the measurements above but the angle is not really critical as long as one side is a little higher than the other!
My flowers were created by covering a scrap of Basic White card with ink and the blending brush, then stamping the flowers from the Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set, before cutting with the coordinating Flowers and Leaves Punch. (available as a bundle at 10% discount – see below 🙂 )
The punch also cuts the little leaves which I cut from a scrap of Evening Evergreen card then some of the same color In-color Jewels.
