Pretty Floral Birthday Card in Soft Greens

Welcome to my Corner of the World

After the strong, regal colors I used on Friday, today’s card features soft, subtle shades of Soft Seafoam and Soft Succulent. The colors go together beautifully and needed the softness of the Blossoms in Bloom Stamp Set to carry thru the subtleness I was going for.

I have chosen to make this a birthday card but it would be easy to change out the greeting to cover almost any other occasion. 🙂

  • Base Card: 11 x 4 1/4 Soft Seafoam Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2
  • Layer 1: 5 x 3 3/4 Soft Succulent Card
  • Layer 2: 4 3/4 x 3 1/2 Basic White Card
  • Ink Color: Soft Succulent and Soft Seafoam

The floral stamp is quite a large one that fits onto the F Clear Stamp Block – this makes for quite a handful so I prefer to use my Stamparatus with these larger stamps. Once I had stamped the main flowers I added the details using a separate clear block. I could not resist adding a bow made from the Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon then added a couple of Pearl Basic Jewels to give a warm glow.
