I say this when the 1st of every month comes around…………. I cannot believe we are over half way thru 2021 !!!! I am glad to say that this year has gone a lot better than 2020 as things are opening up and I am able to spend time with friends again.
In the early part of last December I had a class to create a flip over calendar, everyone loved it and made me promise we will do another later in this new year! I thought I might start each month this year by posting the page for that month, so today I share, August which has gentle dragonflies.
- Base Card: 5 1/2 x 4 Soft SeaFoam Card
- Calendar Layer : I have to admit I purchase these, I had no trouble creating the calendar on my computer but the trimming and centering was way beyond my skills set!
- Ink Color: Smoky Slate and Gorgeous Grape Watercolor Pencil
I used the Dragonfly Garden Stamp set with the coordinating Dragonflies Punch. The dragon fly is stamped onto a scrap of Basic White Card then colored with the Gorgeous Grape Watercolor Pencil followed by a Blender Pen which activates the color making it more vibrant.
