I like the mixture of colors today – I realized I had not used Shaded Spruce for a while so paired it with Soft Seafoam (although it is hard to see it in the picture) they went well together but need something more to I went for Magenta Madness, my goodness – does that jump out at you! but it works for me 🙂

• Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Shaded Spruce Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
• Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Soft Sea Foam Card
• Layer 2: 5 x 3 Shaded Spruce Card
• Layer 3: 4 3/4 x 2 3/4 Basic White Card
• Ink Color: Magenta Madness

I used 2 techniques to create the variation in colors for my flowers, for the largest stamp I used the stamping off technique by inking it up then stamped off onto a piece of scratch paper before placing it onto the card without reinking. The second technique is 2 step stampin – by using the smaller stamp with full strength ink.

To pull everything together I added a length of the Gingham Ribbon from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack and a trio of Gold Metallic Pearls.

I figure if you change out the greeting this card design would work for almost any occasion so I think this is a great sketch to keep on hand.
