The leaves on the tree outside my study window are turning color and starting to fall very fast now – autumn is definitely upon us. I was not a fan of autumn when I used to live in the UK, now I live in North Texas, which has hot and dry summers, I find autumn to be a welcome change with the cooler days and better chances of rain!
The Beauty of the Earth Designer Series paper pack has some perfect autumnal color combinations and the design I have used on today’s card are exactly the colors of the tree outside my study! I chose to use a quick and simple Z-Fold card base along with the A Wish for Everything Stamp Set.
- Base Card: 11 x 4 1/4 Evening Evergreen Card ~ scored @ 2 3/4 and 5 1/2
- Layer 1: 4 1/4 x 2 3/4 Cherry Cobbler Card
- Layer 2: 4 x 2 1/2 Crushed Curry Card
- Layer 3: 3 3/4 x 2 1/4 Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper
- Ink Color: Evening Evergreen
The three layers are attached together with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive before being attached to the card base with Stampin Dimensionals. The cute pumpkin is cut from the lightest of the Brushed Metallic Cardstock with the Detailed Pumpkin Die Set and topped off with an Evening Evergreen Chevron Weave Ribbon knot attached with a Mini Glue Dot.
