I spent yesterday afternoon making mince pies – Christmas is just 12 days away. I have nearly everything done now, just need to get fresh veggies a little nearer the day! However I still do have a few more Christmas cards to send which is a little job for tomorrow or Wednesday.

This is one of the cards I designed for a recent Christmas Card Stamp Camp ~ I love the combination of Night of Navy, Basic White, silver embossing a little sparkle from the organdy ribbon.

• Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Night of Navy Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
• Layer 1: 5 x 3 3/4 Whisper White Card
• Layer 2: 4 3/4 x 3 1/2 Night of Navy Card
• Ink Color: Versamark

I just love the ‘swirl’ from the Stitched Stars Dies Set – not only does it cut the swirly bit it also cuts out the stars to dot around. To make it easy to stick down I attached a piece of Adhesive Sheet to the back of the Basic White Card before running it thru the Mini Cut and Emboss Machine with the die.

My greeting is from the Snowman Season Stamp Set, heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder. The beautiful, sparkly Glittered Organdy Ribbon for my faux knot and a sprinkling of Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish off.
