Oh my Gosh – it is Easter weekend…. already – it does not seem that long ago we were celebrating New Year!

I have used the Daffodil Daydream stamp set for this Easter card using cheerful Daffodil Delight and Pear Pizzazz Card and my Watercolor pencils.

• Base Card: 7 1/2 x 5 1/2 Daffodil Delight Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2
• Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 3 Pear Pizzazz Card ~ run thru Cut and Emboss Machine with Stripes and Splatters Embossing Folder
• Layer 2: 3 x 2 1/2 Daffodil Delight Card
• Layer 3: 2 3/4 x 3 1/4 Basic White Card
• Ink Color: Stazon and Pear Pizzazz

I love this off-set style of card – it is just a little bit different but not at all difficult to do, just cut the front side of the card 1″ shorter! My greeting is cut with the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch with a little Opal Round embellishment to add a subtle bling. The Daffodil Daydream Stamp set also has a ‘Mother’s Day’ greeting so you could create this card, swap out the greeting and you will be all ready for May 8th!

I have found myself using watercolor pencils a lot just recently, they are so quick and easy to add color to stamped images and when you use the Blender Pen to ‘smoosh’ the color a little it just pops out of the card.
