Well, I know we are in the early part of autumn and I love autumnal colors, but I don’t want to get tooooo lost in them, so today’s card is a combination I have a real love for at the moment ~ Tahitian Tide and Parakeet Party. Both of these colors have very tropical sounding names so I have paired them with the Artfully Layered Stamp set as that leaf certainly reminds me of palm trees!

• Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Tahitian Tide Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
• Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Basic White Card ~ run thru the Cut and Emboss Machine with the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder
• Layer 2: 4 1/4 x 2 3/4 Tahitian Tide Card
• Layer 3: 4 x 2 1/2 Parakeet Party Card
• Layer 4: 3 3/4 x 2 1/4 Basic White Card
• Ink Color: Parakeet Party and Tahitian Tide

As always I stamp my greeting first to make sure there is enough room, then the leaf is added afterward. The assembly of the card is very simple, I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to attach each of the smaller layers together then attached them to the main card with Stampin Dimensionals. I added a little knot of Parakeet Party Metallic Woven Ribbon and scattered a few Faux Sea Glass Shapes to finish of the tropical theme!
